I'm able to go back into work at this time so having a conversation with specialist on how to best move forward for selecting hours so everyone is happy. I'm just curious how others manage weekly.

I work at Amazon and I worked 4 10 hour shifts. We have mandatory overtime this week and every week from the week of Thanksgiving through Christmas Eve. That is our peak season.

Mandatory overtime consists of 5 11 hour shifts, an extra hour on your normal days plus an additional 11 hour shift.

I make sure I get my needed sleep and on top of my medication.

I worked 40+ hours every week until I retired. I was an accountant for the federal government so I didn't fear losing my job for health reasons.

So I am scheduled to 32 hours, but its what is called a weekend warrior shift. In fact I should be in bed right now. A 3pm-11pm, 7am-11pm, 7am-3pm friday-sunday. Then my job encourages filling in shifts that are open, and it happens often. They dont frown on overtime, or limit it. We can have 80 a week if we can handle it even if we are 32 a week on schedule. I work in a group home company contracted to the State with foster kids. So we have to be in ratio per kid to be legal.

I have not had a job for very long time. Got a 3.9 for bachelor's degree, in nursing. Then I started having seizures. They got so bad, that I stopped breathing, was has in the hospital, and had a breathing tube put in. I just thank God, I can't rememer it
