For sure I have:
1) a very tough memory, since
AFTER I started meds
2) sexual dysfunction. I do not
last long in bed
It depends on what you take then from there it depends on what main issues you get from what you take. If you work all that out, you can then talk to a Dr about treating these issues and managing them. Where it becomes a problem is if you find out you get a side effect that can't be managed, or it's classed as an emergency level side effect.
One other question is how are you going so far with no meds? That only lasts so long.
Just amazing - the very, VERY best I’ve felt since starting off on meds 35 years ago? That was 2 weeks after the brain surgery. The next 3 years were tough. Not simply because of the surgery. But cutting down from 11 to 5 pills a day. Each and every pill can make such a big difference.
I still take meds - and I have to continue doing so. It’s just amazing how I felt so fantastic after the surgery. But that was after 4 straight weeks taking no meds. And though I have far less seizures, the side effects have definitely hit me harder.
Sneak, If you are able to deal with your Epilepsy without meds, what are you doing? Did you have surgery or DBS for example? I looked into the Ketogenic Diet, but my Insurance would not cover it. Taking Supplements?
