My parents had to work during the day. I would get up with them at 7 then I was by myself till 3pm. I had a set schedule of what I would do and then I would do whatever. I spent almost 15 years not allowed to drive. I finally had brain surgery and there has been an end to the seizures. I went back to college and got my bachelors. I am now working on my Masters.

My mom also struggled leaving me by myself for awhile . Especially since I never know when I seizure. But a lot
( not always ) of times I was around a friend or neighbor and they were good at alerting me when I seizure .

I think spending time with friends or family may help put the thought in back of her mind .
