There is a book available called, PRESCRIPTION FOR NUTRITIONAL HEALING by Phyllis A. Balch (ISBN # 15833326-7). It talks about every kind of medical problem and what nutrients and diet recommendations that will help. I did purchase one but you may be able to get the info at a Vitamin store. Just ask the staff about it. Yes, the vitamins really do help..
Because the meds tend to deplete what we have in our food intake. My Neuro has started recommending B6 and GABA as well. I hope this is a blessing to everyone else on this site. Shalom. Maire

I do not take Folic Acid but I have been taking D3 for over 10 years and my seizures were always mild, if at all.

I take the daily dosage of Folic Acid, 1 milligram every morning because I am also taking Methotrexate for Rheumatoid Arthritis since December of 2023.

Now I also take B-complex to help my chronic migraines which has the daily dosage of B vitamins in it. I found doing this is much easier on my system. I've been taking B-complex since 2001. I also take the daily dosage of Calcium, Magnesium, and Vitamin D. I originally began taking the three just mentioned for back damage due to a car accident but went back to Calcium and Vitamin D suggested from my epilepsy specialist as he felt they are something that would be helpful because of my epilepsy medication that is taken daily.

I had no problem continuing Calcium and Vitamin D, they are helpful on my back pain level and my health level was improved as the two vitamins are helpful with protecting my stomach lining.

Every person is different with what they need to take. I follow what has been directed by my specialist; when a question comes up I go back to them or will contact someone at the pharmacy looking for an answer.
