I saw a Physical Therapist about the Vertigo. I told my Neurologist about te Vertigo. She said to prevent it I should not sit up or lie down quickly. In my case it does not require medications.

I have had vertigo but not for a while, I have learnt to not put anything at all in my ears even ear drops else I get it, I couldn't take any meds for vertigo cause it interacted with phenytoin causing me seizures.

Well from what I was taught when I was married to someone who had it lay on your bed with your head hanging off. Have someone with you . Turn your head to the right for a few minutes then turn it to the left for a few minutes. Then have the person by you tilt your head up and put it to your chest and help sit you up it's always worked for him ...

I had vertigo. It's due to an inner ear problem. It maybe due to medication but it might be when you get up to quickly from lying down or sitting. My doctor said to me to lye on my back on edge of the bed and turn you head left to right. But please first go to see you doctor as he/she might have a different suggestion to help with your vertigo.
