I live alone and may not even know I’ve experienced anything.Sometimes it occurred when I was alone and sometimes in front of others. I was told I acted weird, Before getting diagnosed, one friend I was video chatting with was so concerned, she was about to call 911 from across the country. When I “came to,” she asked if I recalled what I had just done and I could not.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member - Thanks. I was told by neurologist that I have complex partial with generalization and intractable epilepsy. That's a mouthful which still leaves me completely scared and like a deer in the headlights.

Thanks for your replies, everyone! I've been having a ton of panic attacks since this past Tuesday, 9/2, but I understand that is completely different than a seizure. I wrote down those episodes in the notes section on my phone. I know I started getting panic attacks around 2014 or 2015, but didn't realize what they were until about 2.5 years later. I've been keeping a journal of panic attacks in the past, but now that I'm writing this, I'm thinking I should start keeping track on that journal again, referencing the episodes from my notes section. AI did confirm that panic attacks could be a side effect of (generic) Keppra.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member Normally when its complex partial then leads to generalization it should still have a starting point unless they still don't know where it is or there definitely more than one so there's no clear starting point.

I have the same type and mine always start in the temporal lobe (TLE) in the same area.
