I have had Epilepsy Seizures since the age of two and got it due to it being hereditary on my father's side of the family. I used to live in the State of Arizona and when I had seen an Epileptologist/Neurologist over their 5 years ago that I had the beginning stage of Multiple Sclerosis (MS). I don't know how true it is because now that I live in California there hasn't been any doctor that has ever mentioned it or brought it up to me even when seeing my primary care doctor or neurologist over here.

Yes, research shows that people with epilepsy can develop multiple sclerosis (MS). In fact, a large study conducted in England found that approximately 3 out of every 100 people with MS also had epilepsy. This rate is higher than what would be expected by chance alone. Scientists believe the connection exists because damage caused by MS in the brain might sometimes lead to seizures. However, researchers are still studying the exact mechanisms that link these two conditions. It's important to work closely with your healthcare team to develop an appropriate treatment plan that addresses both conditions.
