my doc will ask me about the seizures and if I have any questions. He does take time to thoroughly answer any questions I might have. myself, I don't dwell on having seizures but I stay aware of my surroundings knowing the possibility of having a seizure is always there.
No I don't only when I have a seizure, I put it out of my mind and don't let having epilepsy rule my life, so I feel more positive + normal + keep calm.
I'm always aware of my epilepsy, but I try not to "overthink" about it or let it get me down. Just do what you can to make life comfortable. Make use of what assistance/help is available and look after yourself. My doctor lets me know if there are any changes/health tests etc. needed. I have joined new community groups - they are very supportive and refreshing.
If I think there is something new with my in my seizures and seizure patterns , I may go deeper into the subject with my doctor. .
My doctor (GP) understands my epilepsy very well. What also helps me is the strong bond between all the doctors in this clinic - they have no hesitation in referring me to their colleagues for other health assessments/treatments if they see that I need anything outside of their expertise. This high-level support helps keep my health in good order. Less stress and good overall health mean fewer seizures.
