twice a day. I took some Tylenol and it kinda curbed the headache, it went from a pain level of 8 to about a 3. I just called the doctor's office and spoke with the nurse. She will get back with me.

I've been on Lamotrogine for 8 yrs, currently at 400mg am / 300 mg pm since 2022, and haven't experienced any headaches beyond the norm. I do have migraines, so my neurologist prescribed Rizatriptan. He told me it helps with my really bad headaches, but I use 800mg ibuprofen for them. The Rizatriptan knocks the migraines out in nothing flat.

I’m on lamictal (the knockoff version). I have never noticed headaches. I am on a couple of others in addition too. But I take my daily dose of all my meds at night going to bed. This was done with approval from my doctor. I wind up with solid sleep and do not wake up to any side effects. Just good solid sleep. Talk to your doctor. But it was the best thing I did. Because I WAS skipping doses not to deal with the side effects. Since doing it all when I go to bed, I no longer have dreams, auras or problems. Speak with your Neurologist. It maybe an easier fix than you think. Good luck!!!

Hello David ., our experience with Lamotrogine has been positive ., my dear husband suffered from ictal asystole .. a rare cardiac manifestation of left temporal lobe epilepsy .. as no meds worked for him to stop seizures ., including Lamotrogine .. he was said to be drug resistant ., he suffered severe depression from all of this .. so as Lamotrogine is used for patients without epilepsy to treat depression ., he was placed back on it ,, and it did help the depression ,, which eased his stress ., and thereby lessened his seizures ., we found this med had fewer side effects than others which were intolerable to William .. and yes headaches ,, including migraine ., are a side effect of this ., and most ., antiseizure meds ., good news is this is alleviated with time ., we used Aleve ., as the pills were tiny and William had difficulty swallowing and keeping down meds .. Lamotrogine is among the gentlest and most effective of the meds we tried .. and the headaches got better for us ., we wish you the best with it ,, sending you prayers and hugs ., from fellow warriors William and Jen💜💙🕊
