Talk to the Dr. who prescribed them to you. Especially if you think the meds are making you experience some form of allergy or side effects from the medication

Keppra is the brand name of the anti-epiletic seizure medication. The generic name for it is Levetiracetam. It is not Gabapentin. If you are allergic to any of the anti-epiletic seizure medications, then let your primary doctor and neurologist know.

I'm confused by this. Are you sure you don't mean levetiracetam?

If you experience an allergic reaction to gabapentin, it's important to contact your healthcare provider immediately. While the search results don't specify gabapentin allergy symptoms specifically, any medication allergy should be taken seriously and reported to your doctor right away. There are several alternative anti-seizure medications available. Some common options include:

- Levetiracetam (Keppra)
- Lamotrigine (Lamictal)
- Topiramate (Topamax)
- Valproic acid (Depakene/Depakote)
- Zonisamide (Zonegran)
- Clobazam (Onfi)

It's important to note that finding the right medication and dosage can take time. Work closely with your healthcare provider to find the most effective treatment option with manageable side effects for your specific situation. In addition to medication changes, some people find success with lifestyle modifications like maintaining a regular sleep schedule, managing stress, and following a healthy diet. Some individuals may also benefit from a ketogenic diet under medical supervision.
