Medical marijuana contains two main compounds - THC which creates the "high" relaxing feeling, and CBD which does not cause a high but may have health benefits. The relaxing effects can vary significantly between different products depending on their THC and CBD content.

Some people with epilepsy report feeling relaxed and experiencing fewer seizures with medical marijuana use. However, individual experiences vary - while some find it helpful, others may not enjoy the effects. Common side effects that can impact relaxation include sleepiness, fatigue, and decreased appetite. It's crucial to discuss using medical marijuana with your healthcare provider first, as it can interact with other medications and the effects need to be carefully monitored. They can help determine if it's an appropriate option for your specific situation and guide proper dosing.

I take Epidiolex. That is CBD Oil without the THC. I was Intractable, was not controlled by meds. It was studied for children first, and worked. Then, they tested people like myself. I finally found a dosage I could tolerate. I will be speaking to my GP about severely loose bowels. That is a side effect.
