I'm guessing i had a seizure in my sleep as I woke up to blood on my pillow and I've bitten the inside of my lip badly. Is it normal to bite the inside of your lip when you have a seizure rather than your tongue?

It is. I still have night seizures but fortunately I don’t bite anymore.

Yes this is very normal as I have more activity in my sleep then awake I always seem to get my bottom lip I have focal generalized complex seizures evolving to grand mal seizures I'd see your neurologist make sure to document this it can also cause memory loss

Not everyone who has Grand Mal seizures has horrible seizures like you. I have Grand Mal seizure but I am almost like a normal person and do not thrash around when I have a seizure. Try taking vitamin C for your teeth grinding.

Yes, biting lip , tounge, or in my case it's usually my cheek. Wherever your teeth land when clinching.
