Living with epilepsy doesn't define who you are as a person. Your perspective about not letting your condition limit you from trying new things shows incredible strength and resilience. As one MyEpilepsyTeam member wisely shared, life is 10% circumstantial and 90% perspective - you can change your life with your attitude. Many people find that dropping preconceptions about epilepsy can be freeing. Each person's journey is unique, and focusing on what you CAN do rather than limitations helps build confidence and independence. Remember that having epilepsy may make some things challenging, but it doesn't make you any less capable of achieving greatness or experiencing life fully.

I try not to let epilepsy control my life. There are times when it does rule. I think that we have to be aware that there are so many others who are dealing with issues that we are not able to see from the outside, much like epilepsy. I just think we should give everyone a level playing field.
