My first surgery called Gamma Knife I had done at The Cleveland Clinic. I had a HORRIBLE experience there. My 2 Laser Oblation surgeries I had at the University of Michigan(GO BLUE). Since my last laser oblation surgery on June 15, 2018, I have been seizure free since!

In 2019- I had my right Temporal Lobe, Hippocampus, and Amygdala removed. I was seizure free for over a year.
My seizures are less and different.
The surgery went great! The Surgeon was Fantastic as was the entire team. Follow up care was awesome.
But my short term memory is gone. My emotions are not clear and I feel like another person some days.

I had AVM removal at Crouse Irving Memorial in Syracuse NY the other 2 at The Montreal Neurological Institute in Montreal Canada.

I had my anterior lobectomy at UCLA, my left hippocampecyomy at SantaMonica-UCLA and Vagal Nerve Stimulator at John Hopkins. I was going to have another procedure at UCSF but my main focus is in my Brocas. They are working with medications only !
