This I'm wondering about, they say with the meds we take or are given to us what may be the side effects of them, but that is what they say may happen, and what we should do and maybe avoid doing because of the condition we have, now my? About this is how is a person supposed to know that unless you actually take that or a activity you aren't supposed to do unless you actually do it? I do know of some of the meds I take do have a few side effects from them, and as for my activities I do I think… read more

Dave warning are there to suggest it may not be safe to do certain activities. In my case common sense and gray-haired wisdom are my decision makers when thinking about trying something new or giving up an activity I use to do. 20 yrs ago I took more risks and pushed the limits, now, not so much. my old body is more brittle and I don't heal as fast.

This is why a Med has years of trials before it goes to market. They need to get a full idea of what the side effects are before it if released. When It comes to personal circumstances the side effects are normally divided up into categories, (most likely, likely & rare) anything that is classed as most likely is most likely to happen but it never means you would get every single one.

Likely side effects are normally alittle worse and the rare side effects are normaly classed as a emergency and you would have to come off.

I read the interactions and advice what to do and not to do and use common sense. Occasionally I will experience a whole new set of side effects which were not labeled. I think that is do to being on several different medications.

To me it’s a form of trial and error. If I want to try doing something that the meds say not to, I’ll give it a try in moderation and take it from there. If it doesn’t bother me- great; if it does-then I know not to try it again
