Myself it would take time to adjust if have to deal w/ Al. After all the years I'm too use to seeing human Dr.s
I don't see any reason why not?. Especially for routine check-ups and/or routine testing, even nurses assistants. But I don't think that human doctors to treat humans can be replaced.
I believe it’s already started .
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member This is how they design AI systems now. There will a major task that is being done and AI is used to do part of the job but humans still control and manage how it runs.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member i doubt it will be used to make final decisions but in the 1990's my teams designed systems to detect & define new germstrains, possible drug regimens. Today they're being used by some physicians to present possible diagnosis given test results & symptoms. Also by many surgeons to view possible causes of injuries & courses of action. This is a fact but at present a human MD is required to give prognosis, prescribe treatments, etc..
