Yes, I have focal seizures and was recently diagnosed with PNES. I never knew anything about that, and possibly explained seizures increasing. Well all wasn't seizures. I was referred to psychiatrist and psychologist. I start CBT treatment soon, see a counselor and psychiatrist for meds. My goal is to be able learn difference between seizure and non epileptic seizure.
I never realized how much my mental health was and is affecting my physical health. Now I try to read everything and learn as much as I can about PnES.

Thank you so much for responding! I never knew it existed! I’m 52 and just started all this last year when I became like the hulk at a wedding reception with a seizure. So scary!!! I had to resign from my job and life certainly is different now. Meeting with my neurologist again in a couple of weeks again after an inpatient eeg stay and this diagnosis. Good luck to you!!!!!
