FYI.. The Hobscotch (Home-Based Self-Management and Cognitive Training Changes Lives) program that Dartmouth College provides for Free has provided me with a lot of tools and concepts to make things a lot better. I would try it.
It's dif per person, I don't take that med, I have been when diagnosed with my condition of epilepsy at 7, Dilantin and phenobarbital, that was ok and then put on another medication around 1994 I'd say, I think that after all the tests and meds and age etc, not to mention the effects of the condition and seizures that goes with my condition, I have been put on divaprolex and levetiracetam, I think that my mem is not what it was before, considering what the cause of it is, but I am not complaining about it, I have had it 53 yrs now and it's not going away, I have accepted the condition I have to live with, but I don't worry about it or lose any sleep either, I think I'll be ok with, I give myself a 1 on the 3 scale being the best for my mem I have, I also do my daily routine of prayer and bible study which in my life I'd say is the best medicine for me and my condition and anything else that comes my way, i am a Catholic christian mix and I am not perfect and do sin, but that is my opinion here on the question

I’ve had memory issues ever since I had my first seizure which was when I was only 10 years old
I have some memory issues too. My doctor said it was due to my age, being on my medication for so long at high doses, my epilepsy, and menopause. I think it is different for everyone. I also know memory loss is one of the most frustrating things I deal with.
