If you are fitted with a Livanova 106 Vagus Nerve Stimulator too I'd be fascinated by the results and the settings.
Thanks Sue. I'm trying to find out if my readings are common place you see. Mine set, like yours to a low threshold and to maximum voltage. It's also set to activate at the maximum - every 1.1mins. I still have a total of over 200 autostims a day. About 100-110 are false positives based on research papers at those settings. It's suggesting there's around 90 focal seizures a day though. When I did the VEEG before implant, I recorded 120 events in the 72 hours. I'm not sure I will replace the battery on the 106 when the time comes. I'm not sure it's good for my mental wellbeing!
I only had the three absence within a week's time. Seizure thresh is very low. we're trying to find out what's going on and since the EMU hadn't been done in quite a few years, I was due. I've had the VNS since 2008 when company was Cyberonics. I've got the DBS working as well, had that going since 2011. Anyway, we've been talking and beginning to think the medication has something to do with what's going on but will get into a heavier discussion about it when we meet up in July.
Results were inconclusive of course.
I did a EEG and sleep study at the hospital plus observation while on ZXYPREXA and SAPHRIS
