My daughters not diagnosed with Epilepsy, however she has been having mental health issues and is waiting for a assessment. Is it worthwhile me seeking my epilepsy nurse to add input.
My neurologist and mental doctor consult on my meds I take some mental drugs that prevent seizures and depression at the same time because my mental doctor knows about my seizures
Read/research all you can so you're informed and can ask good questions.
Investigate Psychogenic Seizures
Read the articles on this site. They're very good.
What symptoms is she having to make you lean towards epilepsy? After knowing that, I can give you a better answer
P.S. Symptoms are symptoms are symptoms. They aren't made by a neurologist. Look online for all symptoms. (i.e., staring spells, saying things that don't make sense, full on tonic-clonic, hands shaking, extreme fatigue, trouble sleeping, trouble with short term memory, etc. Have a look at the National Epilepsy Foundation's list of symptoms.
Sincerely
Maureen

I mean it wouldn't hurt getting extra input I would say go for it really
Absolutely! Use input from everyone you trust. You'll gain the personal experience of each to enhance your own. It's your decision in the end regardless.
