Consult Dr bout the shaking for the best advice. Don't want it to continue or try to Dr yourself.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member , I don’t know what meds you’re on or for how long you’ve been on them or if your dosage has been changed on any of them but some medications have a side effect of shaking or twitching. But one big thing I experienced began in December 2018 & my shoulder twitched a little & later that evening I began having trouble breathing & my heart began racing & so we went to the hospital ER & waited in the ER for 3 hours only for them to claim I was dehydrated. As the months progressed the shaking got worse in both my arms & both arms would shake at the same time & I’d holler “Make it stop! Make it stop! Make it stop!”. There were 2 different times that my Mom had to feed me because my arms were shaking so bad. At times my right leg would shake. At times my leg muscles would tighten up that I had to walk slow. My vision got blurry sometimes & I had panic attack or anxiety attack at the fast food burger place I was working at at that time. By May 2019 my Mom took me to our Family clinic & it was on a Saturday & luckily our former Family doctor was working & so he knew about my seizures & he saw that I hadn’t had blood work done in almost a year but I had gone several months without after I had left my other job. At the time I didn’t know about the Epilepsy Foundation & that they are there to help those without insurance. So the doctor did blood work & found that my Depakote blood level was at 135 & normal is between 50 to 100. So he adjusted my Depakote dosage & after several months the shaking finally stopped. But in between those months these verbal tics started where I say or holler words, names, phrases or humming or moaning noises uncontrollably. Recently my special Neurologist said he thinks the verbal tics could be related to Autism Spectrum Disorder & wants me to find a therapist who uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to treat it. Well, let your doctor know about your shaking. Think back to when the shaking started & if anything had changed shortly before. Good luck. Your friend in Texas, Becky
