Does Anyone Else Have Seizures Due To A Brain Tumor?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I had gamma knife performed on a begnin brain tumor. It caused permanent damage to some healthy brain tissue. I've had around 15 seizures due to this. They weren't all the same type. I had some gran mal and focal seizures. It seems like cardio activity and alcohol triggers them sometimes

TirzahDawnAllen I have Epilepsy because of a brain tumor. I was born with a subarachnoid tumor that ended up having to be shunted when I was 11 yo and I also have a pituitary tumor also.
Both are beign, but I have had seizures since I was 9 months old.

Not due to brain tumor but due to Viral Encephalitis. Messed things up in my memory and struggle often.
