My husband had those surgeries too and still so struggles. I find epilepsy so challenging. Ever since my husband got diagnosed 6 years ago life has been so very hard. I empathize with you. We had to hire a lawyer for disability as my husband was denied twice. The lawyer took his pay from the disability settlement. I am so very sorry you are going through all that you have to deal with. I think there should be a lot more research for epilepsy

Yeah thanks for sharing ProudTx. Yes 2021 my armed security job let me go. That was after my 1st 5 days in hospital EEG. When I was getting ready to return they said you no longer work for us. So I've haven't worked in almost 3 yrs. Family & friends even a former attorney ask me about applying for SSDI. So I was stubborn & didn't until summer of 2022. And yes like you stated I've been denied twice, so I do have a hearing before a judge in July. But I have some of the similar issues, slur speech, vertigo, my memory pattern has fallen so much & quickly. Thanks goodness for my Veteran benefits but had to fight almost 8 yrs. We've been going before our local congressman to help get EPILEPSY out like other illness. It's so sad how epilepsy is look upon compared to other. Again thanks for reaching out & sharing truly appreciate 🙏

Social Security is a long process that requires doctors letters as proof
