I have found that one has to give the medication a chance to work, like at least a month. The sides will mellow out with time. At least that has been my experience.
I always go to ww.drugs.com to know what i may experience in side effects and other info.
New med is trying to help brain avoid the seizures so at first mind may be affected then will adjust & not be. Give self time think of how well seizures are for now. If bad feeling persists know Dr will take you off it. Best side of all is seizure control.
Side effects are generally their worst in the first month or two then they should get better. This what it was like when I switched to Keppra all up it took me 3 months to get some normality 6 months to get to the point I'm at now.
Sorry, this note is 'so late!'
Since the last seizures, I get
no warning of any seizure,
going to happen. It's possible
to drive, but I don't because I'd never forgive myself if I ever had a seizure & hit, hurt,
or killed someone. The town I
live in, is small enough to walk to anywhere I need to go.
