Never gave it much thought, but I do think I have some memory loss after I started having seizures. Things have been a bit fuzzy since then. I do remember major events, but smaller stuff is gone. Remember a lot from my childhood though.

I have had seizures for 40+ years and generally the only effect is to my short term memory.

I have a lot of memory problems. I wasn't diagnosed until I was like 18 the grandmal seizures started around 17. I kept waking up on the floor with no recollection of what I was doing the whole time beforehand....but I have a lot of memory issues ever since I was diagnosed and put on medication. I remember a lot of stuff before then though.

I remember a lot before I had my first seizure and was diagnosed. I still remember mostly things that I see or do vs. things I’m told or hear. I thinks it’s from damage to my temporal lobe from a cyst when I was 1.5 years old.
