Good day Dave, I have a big family and worked in a lot in a lot of hospitals. I still get a texts from people just to make sure I have the same number. If they confirm it is me they honestly just say something like "I hope is well" or send me jokes to make me smile. What is weird sometimes the people I hear from the most are not family. They are previous employee I worked with or friends I grew up and partyed with. They don't bring up my medical situation. I think everyone has something going on medically, so it is just to catch-up and hear a voice. That makes me smile!
I'm sure this isn't the subject you're talking about when you say "welfare check" but after I had my surgery, I kept being asked if I had any seizures. I finally decided to grow a beard. Athletes let their beard grow if they're on a winning streak. I'm an athlete. I'm on a winning streak. So as long as you see my beard, you don't have to ask. I'm seizure-free. ๐
My family IS the welfare check! My mother is 72 years old, but if I donโt answer my phone sheโs in the car, on the phone with my daughter and they are both on the way to my house! Iโve learned to take my phone everywhere with me.
No. My husband and son are my welfare checks.
My family will!!! If I don't answer my phone at certain times, baby my family will come over or send someone ๐ฏ ๐ "THAT'S WHY I ANSWER MY PHONE"!!!
