@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member idk if I didn’t ask the question good. I don’t want it disconnected. I have another health issue. It makes me puke everything I eat come back up. I am concerned that the leads will get disconnected from my vagus nerve due to me puking several times a day . I was asking how easy it is for the leads to become disconnected due to that.

I get it activated tomorrow. My worry is since I have gastroperisis(which I puke up everything I eat) the leads could become disconnected and cause issues. That’s what I asking, is how easy is it for them to become disconnected?

No it shouldn’t get disconnected. The stimulator is implanted behind the skin of your left chest area. The leads are brung up the side of the neck to the Vagus Nerve.

They don’t take the leads? That’s very interesting. I have a lot of health issues so I’m concerned on some things.

I think it must be hard for the leads to come undone. Like I said I had my VNS removed but they left the leads in my neck. If the leads came off easily the doctors would have removed them from my neck too. However, they’re still there. I can move them around with my finger.
