I have the VNS and have had it since 2017. It hasn’t really helped much because it has made my seizures happen more without the feeling and seems like they happen more now.

I was curious about how the constant shocks would affect the SZ activity. I assume every one is different so VnS or RnS are options.

I have had both the VNS and RNS. The VNS is supposed to help stop seizures. It turned on every 5 minutes and vibrated like crazy. It would make me cough and mess up my speech. We never saw any improvements with my seizures so I got the VNS removed. The RNS also is supposed to help stop seizures too. Not only that but it also records my seizure information 24/7. I send the doctors information every night before I go to bed. I think the RNS reduces my seizures better than the VNS did.
