Does Anyone Take Vigabatrin?

The pharmacy recommended Vigabatrin for seizures. I was wondering if anyone takes it and if so, how effective is it at reducing your Complex-Partial Seizures? What side effects do you have? I'm seeing my family doctor tomorrow and might mention it; I'm wondering what side effects you experienced and how effective is it at reducing your Complex-Partial Seizures. I have tried just about every anti-seizure medication and had to give them up due to negative side effects (such as extreme depression)… read more

Talk to your PCP, but it’s likely that they won’t know much about it. Try your neurologist/epileptologist.
I hope that the new med is helpful and comfortable for you.
