I actually need my 2 cups of coffee in the day because I have found one of my medications; Primidone; to really make me tired. The caffeine doesn’t seem to cause me any problems

The reason that people who are taking epilepsy medication(s) need to cut their consumption of caffeine-based drinks down to one a day is because the caffeine increases you urination pattern. Making you go to the toilet more frequently. As many of these medications need to reach the stomach before the stomach acids break down the medication, similar to alcohol, the individual fails to fully absorb their medication because it is passing through their body too quickly as a result of the caffeine and/or alcohol.

I used to drink coffee all day 365 days a year whether living in Las Vegas ,NV (hot coffee) 4 to 6 (16oz) per day. The caffeine didn't faze me. I don't eat pork or red meat. Now I barely drink coffee. I still don't eat pork or red meat. I eat organic chicken and wild caught seafood. I'm a Flexitarian. I was a vegetarian but it was not fair to my family. I was a vegetarian for years and when I moved back home, ( to help take care of my mom) I made a compromise with my family. I buy all the groceries including their pork and red meat. We cook our food separately. Bcuz there is stuff that they don't like that I cook which is vegetarian. Which is also healthy.
