I started on Keppra 13 weeks ago, now I’m in the mountains where the sunshine is strong. Do I need to keep out of the sun? Thank you for advice and suggestions. 😁
I take it. I was wondering, if that has an effect. I know if I get overheated. If your photosensitive be precautions. Remember to stay hydrated. STAY HYDRATED
It's a good question. I found that after my last tc and when I had my Tegretol dosage raised (no longer on that) I became very sensitive to the sun. Now that I'm on Keppra I'm honestly not sure what I will be like over the summer. Wether things just go back to normal or I become less sensitive but I'm still more sensitive then I was.

I have been on Keppra since 2018. No sunbathing for me! Sets me up for a seizure. I limit my sun exposure to cooler parts of the day, wear a hat and wear my shades. There’s plenty of cheap bronzers out there if you want to look sun-kissed lol
I appreciate this thread, I'm on Keppra and had no idea about sun exposure.
We kinda hibernate in the winter but im wondering what we're going to do in the summer, we live downtown and literally walk everywhere (also no driving 😑) ...lyfts get expensive!
