Yes, depression from anything, depending on how depressive the problem is may increase the seizure strength. One good thing about the type of seizure you have, focal seizures, are the most taken care of all other types of seizures! So, you got some of the battle beat!

Sorry to hear of your lost and experience. I know a way, that worked for me in past similar situation, may sound sick to some or helpful for others. That way is, if that person survives, for my pleasure, would I want to see them live life of problems and suffering or know they are a amongst nothing but happiness and rest now. I WISH YOU THE BEST!!!

My mother passed last year in my presence. She suffered and losing her overloaded my nervous system and I have not been the same since in controlling seizures. I went from 1 every 1-2 years to several per day and no longer can work.
