The family members should respect you. We are the same as everyone else. Maybe they should come to the appointment with you to get the physician to explain.
You are doing the right by carrying extra medication. You know how to take care of yourself.
Maybe they should be taught how to do first aid in case you have a seizure. Do you have an epilepsy association with your district? They could help with your family situation.
By the way Kris... It concerns me that you're driving. Minnesota requires 6 months seizure free to have your license ok'ed by your neurologist and DMV. I lived in Minnesota all my life. We moved when we retired.
SEE! Now I'm nagging you because of my fear that you'll have an accident. 🤔🤔
I think that at the heart of expressing themselves about your every move is THEIR fear. They don't know that they are powerless in YOUR life.
Don't let them undermine you. Politely walk away or say thanks for sharing your opinions. You have too many people that want to control and protect you so this will require calm, steady, resistance.
You deserve to claim your own journey Kris. Let us know if you make progress with them (or not)
