Does anyone have information about a RNS ? Is it worth the surgery, battery changes, living with one? My doctor wants me to get the surgery, my family doesn't. Any info is appreciated 🙏

I had the RNS put in my brain. I started having seizures in 2009 and had 30 to 50 seizures a week I took all the medicine they had for seizures none of them worked . In 2021 I went to UT southwest Nurologist in Dallas Texas. Soon as they told me they really believed that the RNS would help me. I immediately said yes I will have it. Now i don't have all those seizures. I thank God all the time for sending me to have that surgery. I have my life back . Now after you have brain surgery you do have to know you going to have all your hair shaved off . You're also going to take about 6 weeks to recovery from the surgery. But you will at home recovering not in a hospital . If you have any questions just ask me I can tell you everything .
