I have epilepsy and my son is currently doing a college project to promote epilepsy awareness, remove the stigma of it. He needs an epilepsy medical expert & advocate to contact in the next day or two to answer @ 4 questions for it. He would only need 1 - 2 sentence answers. Any help is appreciated.

The first thing to do is get a hold of the Epilepsy Foundation nearest you. www.epilepsy.com/Local .Or If you have an Epileptologist, maybe they can help share some educational info.
I can start out, that Epilepsy is many Centuries old. There are, also many past ICONIC’s , Famous and Infamous people who had Epilepsy.
Many people fear Epilepsy from the myths .
The person is possessed or a Demon. Then there is the belief, that we are Witches.. these are just part of the Stigma.
Mainstream people don’t realize, that anybody can get diagnosed with Epilepsy at any time, in their life.
Those are just a few tidbits about Epilepsy.
