I was also on trileptal with the Keppra. I had an allergic reaction to lamictal. I’ve been wanting to try a VNS but drs haven’t seemed interested.

I’ve been on Xcopri about a year now. I like it better than Keppra. I had my first grand mal in years in September. That could be due to my mothers passing in july. I still feel drowsy but I definitely choose it over Keppra.

Glad to know its working my Neurologist told me it was new and pharmacist never heard of it also. I couldn't get pass the 50mg dose of Xcorpi I slept all day which is when my episodes occur, and totally understand everyone different. I was suddenly diagnosed at age 36 with Right Temporal Epilepsy, and been on Keppra,Lamictal, maybe 5 more including Trileptal and Dilantin allergic reaction smh. Lacosamide is the only thing I take but still not controlling. The next thing is VNS.
