When You Wake Up From A Seizure Alone, What Helps You? What Comforts You?
I’d like to provide support for people when they wake up alone.
What would you recommend?

Myself
As my doctor says it's like temporary amnesia so being in a familiar area my brain recognizes I've learned to focus slowly on my surroundings. There's been times where the ceiling is still the floor or I need to pee and I hold the walls to walk aimlessly to the bathroom. If I'm at a hotel or somewhere less familiar it's shock and panic even when someone is there I know I know them but do not know who they are. It's frightening I take it slow and have to let my brain come back. Sometimes it's scary to think that this could happen and be permanent, God forbid. Once my son, 17 at the time , was trying ro help but I couldn't speak or see and I would only scream in pain trying to communicate with him.
If I snap out I need noise as TV. I also HAVE to hav radio on when in shower
I cut my legs while shaving B4
I remember just barely opening my eyes enough to feel the pain in my head get worse throbbing so much more all I could do is close them and sleep. I didn't care about the world.
