Xcopri And Anxiety.
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hey guys, does anyone who is on this medicine notice xcopri helps with anxiety too? I was on epidiolex and vimpat before i got pregnant. I recently gave birth and now i am still on vimpat but completely off of epidiolex because they want to see how xcopri works for me. Now i notice i have bad anxiety everyday, and that is one of the triggers for seizures. I am trying my best to stay calm and hoping that when i get to a higher dose of xcopri that’ll help with anxiety too. Main dose is 200mg , i… read more

It’s rough, going from 15mg to 200. I just got to the 200mg and have terrible dreams and night sweating. You’ll be exhausted and have midday crashes, I’m on LT disability. You get brain fog prior to those crashes. I just got to 200mg last night and had night sweats, with recurring bad dreams which I’ll let my dr know. IMO you cannot be working on this medication while weaning off others until the dose is controlled , mine were oxtellar Xr, keppra, onfi, and adderall. I’m on month 3 of it so still having bad days of crashing, exhaustion, brain fog and anxiety. Basically living day by day unable to know how long I call last the following day or if I’ll be depressed. Just sucking it up because no other meds fully stopped them once the anxiety and depression started due to work causing worsened uncontrollable seizures.

The med has decreased seizures significantly but now with other issues.

I'm on xcorpi and have anxiety. I had it before I took xcorpi and still have it so no for me it doesn't help at all. I am also on 200mg aim was to get to 350mg however that's been delayed due to the side effects being hard to cope with.
