Do Any Of You Experience Back Pain, Or Any Body Pain After Having A Seizure?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I used to have back problems where it would hurt to even move, so I just had to lay down until I wasn't in so much pain, but ever since I was diagnosed with epilepsy after I have a seizure my back pain is a lot worse. Sometimes I get back pains even when I haven't had a seizure. And unfortunately I have tried every single pain medication there is and none of them help me at all

No, I don’t. I’ve even cut my arm on an electric saw having a seizure and had to get stitches. I never felt any pain.

I'm sorry to hear you had a grand mal, I hope you're doing better now.

That’s how I believe I had a Grand Mal the other night. I was sore and tired and brain extra foggy.

My everything hurts I feel like I decided to fight mr T and he didn’t stop til I was black and blue. I always feel like I’m bruised all over and can’t ever see many bruises well unless I do silly things like fall of top of playground slide from the side to the ground then I really should hurt like that but it seems every time I can’t move for a day or so until my muscles can release the knots and such so I can even roll over

I’m sorry. My back pain was long before seizures . What I get now is tightness in my shoulders and when I lay down I’m asleep.
