Does your period cause you to have a seizure?

Every month, whether it is a few days before or after I've had my period; I've had a seizure. They at least happen 3 or 4 times in the day for 2 days possibly longer. I dont want to feel like I am the only one suffering something like this.....

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member Yes youll find more information under Catamenial epilepsy directly affected by hormones. For me, Menopause started the seizures again after they had stopped when my period started around age 13(I suffered TBI age 10). I was never diagnosed back then. They came back stronger
40 yrs later and that was ten yrs ago. I've been terrified of getting any estrogen treatment for the menopause.
