Everyone with Epilepsy have memory struggles. I get frustrated when I’ve done many things repeatedly, and then all of a sudden it slips my mind and can’t remember what it was. My phone number, is a great example.. I know my phone number very well . but, there have been a few times I couldn’t remember it

I'm terrible with names. I think because I've had epilepsy since the age of seven, my hippocampus that was healthy picked up the slack for one that was damaged and eventually removed. However, I do forget a few things here and there and write lists down.

I will echo that, yes I have a lot of memory loss. I have to depend upon tools, writing everything down and carrying lists with me (when I remember to bring them!) everywhere. So, no, you are NOT ALONE in that!

I just had surgery on My wrist and needed anesthesia. My memory has been awful after that.

Yep. I went a very long time undiagnosed, so my poor brain has some seizure trauma. Alot of us have interrupted sleep patterns, which doesn't help either. Hope it helps to know you're not alone.
