@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member , I took Trileptal & its generic, Oxcarbazepine for about 10 years or so until November 2019 & then my Neurologist switched me to Vimpat cause she said long term use could possibly harm the liver. But I took Sudafed & Actifed while on Trileptal & didn’t have any issues. Sure, I’d have seizures every now & then just like I do now, but I’m not gonna blame it on the Trileptal/Oxcarbazepine. I don’t usually take NyQuil. But meds effect everyone differently. Your friend in Texas, Becky

Depends on the state any type of epilepsy you have. Ask your neurologist

I think the best thing is to consult Google ( a source like WEBMD or Mayo clinic) and then consult your pharmacist (he or she might actually be the best source) followed by your neurologist. You want to be safe. I realize that is a lot of research...
