I Take Oxcarbazepine For Seizures Is It Safe To Take Over The Counter Cold/flu Meds Like Nyquil?

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member , I took Trileptal & its generic, Oxcarbazepine for about 10 years or so until November 2019 & then my Neurologist switched me to Vimpat cause she said long term use could possibly harm the liver. But I took Sudafed & Actifed while on Trileptal & didn’t have any issues. Sure, I’d have seizures every now & then just like I do now, but I’m not gonna blame it on the Trileptal/Oxcarbazepine. I don’t usually take NyQuil. But meds effect everyone differently. Your friend in Texas, Becky
