YES! And it annoyed me. I needed help and doctors thought i just wanted attention. It took them 16+ years to properly diagnose me. Once i was on the E.R with seizures back to back. I had previous doctors coming in to apologize to me because.....THEY. WERE. WRONG. I could have been treated when i was younger but now have to do it in my 20s be cause of them ๐Ÿ™„

Not being believed is worse than a seizure. I hope your days are sunny and peaceful.

I was accused of faking it and pushed away by so many doctors. Because as I have several mental health issues that told me it was in my head. When I was intubated thatโ€™s when they finally started believing me

Not to get attention, But I constantly get accused by the Right wing nuts in my province that I am faking it to get a government cheque every month...even though I was able to work for 22 years until my short term memory got very bad. When the engine plant I worked at closed down, I tried 2 other jobs, and got fired within 2 weeks because I couldn't pick up new tasks. I went to our Government Agency to get ideas on jobs and training, told them what was going on, and THEY told me to go apply for a program called AISH (Government Disability Program). BUY to the Right Wing Nuts, many who sit on Unemployment for 6 months of a year, the term they use is 'Dipper'
