Medical Alert Bracelet
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Do you wear a medical alert bracelet or necklace? If so, what information do you have on it? Where did you buy the bracelet?

My necklace not only says epileptic but also says Neurostimulator, No MRI and Metal (Head). That’s because if I ever walked into a room with an MRI machine the magnetic force would pull the Neurostimulator out of my head and I’d die.

I have a Medic Alert necklace after breaking 2 bracelets (strong wrists and no idea when it happened).

The site for Medic Alert is https://www.medicalert.org/

I do. I wear both a band with emergency contact numbers. And a Embrace Seizure alert watch that calls my brother if it detects I'm having a seizure.
