Pregnancy & Keppra

Hey guys! Its been 4 years since i posted on here.

I recently got married in March & my husband & I are talking about trying for a pregnancy. Iā€™m on Keppra ER 2000mg daily. Has anyone had any issues with this and pregnancy? I know anti-seizure medication may lead to neural tube defects. I have sent a message to my GYN & my neurologist to hopefully get a plan set up to lessen the risk of this.

This is an important topic to discuss with your physicians. Some drugs are worse than others, hopefully you can find one that works well for you and has a low risk
