@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member the problem with that is if you get it once, doesn't mean your never going to get it again. That's why even when I got invited to a university I declined and said I'm only doing online. Not even adding a 1% risk.
Hi @A MyEpilepsyTeam Member - As you know, Omicron is spreading like wildfire. I really didn't know anyone who had it in the first wave, but now I know tons of people. Luckily, they have been minor cases. I know that a lot of schools don't have enough teachers b/c they catch it from kids at school. It depends on if this is your dream job, or you really need the money, etc., but I think you have to assume that you will get it in a school setting.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member ~ follow your conscience an ecucators job is a noble one!
I got COVID and it made my epilepsy worse. This virus does effect your nervous system. Be careful.
To be blunt about it.... Not a chance, hopefully people understand but with disability you are a slightly higher risk of getting it than a standard person. I would turn the job down no matter what
