I have experienced this more often than I would like.

I think that getting off Tegretol after being on it for 24 years without ever reaching a long-term seizure free state might help me getting away from it because memory recall has improved since I have been off of Tegretol/Carbamazepine.

And I am praying that any of my friends who are also experiencing this will soon no longer do so. We had a discussion on here years ago about how it would be very difficult to know if any of us actually develop dementia because of this.

Yes for sure..the spelling one can b embarrassing..and i know exactly what your talking about..spelling even simple words...also i have trouble with my mobile phone forgetting how to get into different parts of the phone eg..having to recharge sometimes have to get someone else to do it for me ..have been shown heaps how to do it ......but it wont sink in ...i get some funny looks..especially from ppl that dont know me

I have a memory loss from my TBI's, so I forget why I'm somewhere all of the time. That isn't caused by seizures---that's caused by my not having a short-term memory.

Yes .i get that alot first thing in morning..or throughout the early hrs of the morning..i live full time in rv with my wife..but it was happening when i lived in same house for 5 yrs ..wouldnt know where the toilet was ..dont know which draws my clothes are in ..cant find the cups ..ect ect ..if i have a sleep in the arvo it usually happens again only for about 5 to 10 min
