We have really strict rules in the UK about driving .It seems from reading posts that the US varies state by state I've handed my licence in 3times in 43 years ,the final time was in 2011 My partial seizures have impaired awareness ,& happen weekly so I've accepted the reality that I'll never drive again 😥I personally couldn't live with the knowledge that I may harm others in an accident
I was born with Epilepsy. I’ve never been able to drive, nor have I been seizure free. Now if you count go-carts, 4wheelers and jet skis, then yes.
I stopped driving when I told DMV i had epilepsy. My license was suspended. I had 60 days to appeal but didn't even bother to do it. I found jobs close by to where I live. Now i take the bus to work. I'm glad you looked out for yourself. Take care.
I stopped driving when I got diagnosed with epilepsy 50 years ago because I have tonic colonic seizures and afraid if I had a seizure I would knock someone over I would ever forgive myself and I would worry the rest of my life
I agree it should be up to the Dr & state law. Personally I don't think I would ever want to drive again. I almost wrecked when I first started having them, it's scary.
