How Are We Suppose To Deal With This?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I really feel bad because i mentioned that i was not going to take the vaccine under any circumstances. Now i plan to visit family in NYC soon. Following the travel advisory news they are trying to secure themselves in having anyone and all passengers traveling domestically will need to have proof that you have taken the vaccine. How do you feel about this forceful decision now that J and J have put a stop on the vaccine because of blood clot issues?

I am left with a great amount of questions as you are about why the force to make us have the vaccine to which they have little information about. I question how it will affect people like us since we do have seizures. And the reactions it might have to the medication we take or are they using us for just that information. I think they are going about their research wrong with in a way trying to help us all trying to rid us of this virus. I think that a statement needs to be given saying that this vaccine is not 💯 percent approved to cure but is still in trial with different group due to the lack of information to help people. But we all know that is not going to happen and every country has signed off on the business from being sued for wrongful death and doing because the government wants a cure. Bottom line

I've had my first injection and did not have an reaction and my arm was fine. Didn't feel a thing. I was wondering that if you relax fine but if you tense up you get sore arm etc. Does anyone know if this works hugs & seizure free.

People always worry about the government keeping them from something. But this is a capitalist nation. Your basic everyday rights are decided by business or corporation.

I wouldn’t get the shot. With me I go w/my instincts. If I feel it could be harmful to me too I wouldn’t get it done anywhere. Plus if u take meds for multiple reasons or just one u could be at risk w/the shot too. Anytime I got a shot for health crap it somehow interfered w/my meds & had multi seizures fir days. I also had 16 probes inserted in my brain for 2 hrs & it did more trouble than good. I went psychotic during those hrs. Afterwards it was like my personality changed daily, as if I was Bipolar. You’d have to see it to believe it. My dr told me I’m in the 3% of epileptics that meds side effects do the reverse or meds don’t work more than 1month. I’m basically a lost cause when it comes to cures. Do what u feel is right not what someone persuades u to do!!

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member It is your right to choose not to get the vaccine. However, the airlines and the like also have the right to protect themselves from potential lawsuits, thus the restrictions that some or all of them have just like some states and nations do not allow or require a time period after entering the state or nation in quarantine before you can interact with citizens of that state or nation.
