Hi all. I'm new to this and have a question :)
I have been diagnosed with focal aware seizures (partial focal seizures) just this last week but have had symptoms for over 15 years. My symptoms are very predictable and have always followed the same pattern. Pressure sensation in head (1 spot left side) lasting 2-10 seconds. Then immediately after wave of "numbnes/ loss of sensation" down my right side lasting 30 sec - 1 min. Then it's over

Thank you ! Today the pattern is back to normal but I'm not seeing a reduction in frequency like I was hoping to :(
i am no dr... but i think i had what you had. i have auras into simple partials (focal onset aware) seizures. i took keppra and the partials were shorter but the aura was longer. told my dr and dr added pheobarb. that balance the auras out.so ask your dr about it.
the medicine could be the cause of the change in the pattern I would talk to your doctor just to be on the safe side
Yes, may need to change dosage. Call your neuro
They may change dosage amd/or meds to find the right ones to help
